With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. I'm not sure if a 22LR would have enough recoil to cycle the slide.I've been feeding mine the SIG P365 brand ammo, which clocks about the same (1100'sec) as Blazer Brass, and my standard reloads. While the upper assembly is different, the entire lower including FCU is the same as a standard P365 so you can mix n' match lowers. ... The post by dsk clearly demonstrates the P365 to be capable at distance, however, it also clearly demonstrates the results were achieved by the operator and not the P365. The Sig Sauer P365 is a semi-automatic striker-fired pistol that is similar in some ways to the larger P320 series. It's a different gun and parts aren't compatible with the Sig P320, but the influence is plain to see.
